Biography: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ralph Buckley (206)633-0394 ralphbuckley@comcast.net RALPH BUCKLEY RELEASES: THE CONKLING MINSTREL Seattle, Wa December 12, 2005 This CD RELEASE from RALPH BUCKLEY is a long time comin'...RALPH BUCKLEY "THE CONKLING MINSTREL" is a collection of songs that span the career of one of Seattle's most gifted and eclectic performers. From haunting lullaby ballads, rich with lyrical imagery to screaming, hard-edged, beat-driven testimonials, mourning the torture of drug-addiction...these songs were not written with the intent of any sort of commercial success or popular adoration, no these songs were written because they needed to be written. Underneath the historic clock at Seattle's Pike Place Market, you can hear the haunting voice of this songwriter as he performs his songs to crowds who are in awe of such a talent coming from a 'street musician' who's eyes's have seen a stage or two in his time, having performed in successful bands over the last 23 years...His virtuosity is such as rarely seen in a musician being able to play piano, guitar, mandolin, bass and drums. Not only a little, but quite fluently... and then of course his singing voice. As I said before this collection of music is long overdue, having finally emerged from a long disapearence from addiction, this is a collection of songs that many who know him thought would be no more then a memory...it is good to know that there are some who can come back from this illness... This is a must for anyone's library!!! http://www.ralphbuckley.com http://www.myspace.com/conklingminstrel cd available at cdbaby http://cdbaby.com/cd/buckley http://ralphbuckley.blogspot.com/ ### comments from my msn space "Buckski" the music is awsome Published By Koelnflocke (http://spaces.msn.com/members/mausefalle/) - November 13 10:56 PM god bless what or who gave you the strenth to come back to your music man its beutiful. if you dont have this on disk ill have to make my own and play it for everyone i know, it should be out there ,never stop cheers!
